Merce Domenech Ferret

Merce Domenech is a Spanish artist born in Barcelona and currently based in the Provence region of France.

 

Originally trained as an interior architect, she began her career in the fields of architecture and drawing before fully dedicating herself to painting and engraving.

A long stay in Cuba deeply influenced her artistic universe, infusing her work with rhythms, colors, and sensations that continue to shape her visual language. Through her abstract paintings, she reconnects with the warmth of the sun and the pulse of the sea that inhabit her memories.

Her work blends minimalism with a naïve spontaneity, vibrant bursts of color, and organic forms inspired by the marine world.
